Experimental Field, since 2016
Experimental Field was founded in Moscow in 2016 by Grisha Mumrikov and Ira Tsykhanskaya. Today the platform brings together around 80 artists, musicians, curators, and researchers based in different countries. It develops exhibitions, performances, sound projects, and interdisciplinary programmes, and works mainly with site-specific projects and unconventional spaces:
independent art spaces, industrial buildings, temporarily occupied venues, a former military fortress, a cave, an abandoned settlement, an active wind farm. Since 2016 Experimental Field has presented projects in Russia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Germany.
