Grisha Mumrikov

Experimental Field is an independent artistic and curatorial platform founded in Moscow in 2016 by Grisha Mumrikov and Ira Tsykhanskaya. Today, it brings together around 80 artists, musicians, curators, and researchers working across different countries.

The platform develops exhibitions, performances, sound projects, and interdisciplinary initiatives through collaboration between different practices and generations. Its projects are closely connected to their specific contexts and often take place outside conventional exhibition spaces — from industrial and temporarily occupied buildings to a former military fortress, a cave, an abandoned settlement, and an operating wind farm.

Since 2016, Experimental Field has realised projects in Russia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Germany. Mumrikov continues to develop and curate the platform together with Tsykhanskaya.
